It is an assessment of the condition of Scotland's seas and will be used to inform the national marine plan as well as to implement the Marine Strategy Framework Directive. There is a section on the Firth of Clyde. 13.02.11 - Hopes for new John Muir coast-to-coast trail in Scotland. The proposed route runs from Dunbar in East Lothian to Greenock on the Firth of Clyde, it is hoped this route will rival the already established West Highland Way and the Southern Upland Way. The conference is aimed at anyone who works within the marine industries including marinas and boatyards, both inland and coastal.
